It is an intensive interval therapy program for people who stutter. First conducted in 1987 Germany, this therapy program was named after Van Riper from whom it took several of its basic underlying principles of treatment.

It is called the Van Riper Program as Intensive Interval Therapy. It is called interval because of its block schedule system—a five-day duration of segments with six to eight weeks between the segments. It is called intensive because of its long period of session during segments—about eight hours a day.

The path to becoming a vegetarian or a Vegan is very long and for some people is quite laborious. However, there are also individuals who find it easier to become a full-pledge vegetarian. When people began their habit of their vegan lifestyle, they stop taking red meat, and continue with fish and chicken. The next step is to stop white meats as well; many will replace the protein with different "fake” meats that are available such as veggie meat or tofu. Most people, however, don’t like tofu. This is because they cook it the wrong way.

When cooking tofu, you should find some effective ways of cooking that you can find from some experienced chefs or good recipe books for preparing tofu. The next step, which is believed to be the hardest one, is to cut out dairy products and eggs from your diet. If you really love cheese and milk, it will be very difficult to cut-out these products because there are no food substitutes for cheese or milk.

Probably one of the longest known illnesses of humans is Psoriasis.  Psoriasis became the ugliest disease for every human that they experience.  Either you are king, members of the royal family, a politician, a businessman or such an ordinary individual you are not safe in psoriasis.  Scholars believe that the tzaraat disease mention in the Bible is likely the same with psoriasis.  It was first introduced by Hippocrates (Greek Physician between 460 and 377 BC) but no formal introduction that time until in the first century that Cornelius Celsus (Roman author) described it as a condition that caused by staphylococcus pyogenes of red patches with watery blisters on the skin.

During the time of Hippocrates, a psoriasis disease had different names such as lepra, psora, alphos and leichen.  And Psoriasis became part of the medicinal literature after Joseph Jacob Plenck of Vienna in 1776 as scaly or scale like diseases.  Plenck doesn’t compared the Psoriasis from other skin diseases discovered until Robert Willan (1757-1812), an English dermatologist together with Thomas Bateman recognized this disease as an independent.  They divided it into two categories: (1) Leprosa Graecorum, as the condition when the skin had scales; and (2) Psora Leprosa, as the condition when it became eruptive.

The 21st century paved the way to the emergence of so many skin care products and services. Since the effectivity of these products is not always 100 percent guaranteed, people should not use them until they have consulted a physician or a professional.

Although the market is now swarmed with so many skin care products, it doesn’t mean that you can use and experiment around with these products because doing so can bring bigger disaster on your skin instead of bringing in solution. If you are thinking of using skin care products in order to lessen the effects of aging, it is a must that you conduct a research about the product you're planning to use and its possible side effects.

Bed wetting tends to run in the family.  To help a child to stop wetting the blankets, then it would be great to start them with some encouragement and reassurance, shaming and punishing the child may not work.  About 20% of five year olds experience bed wetting, and every year the percentage gets smaller by half.

It is surprising that about 1 to 2% of fifteen years old would occasionally wet their beds.  While there are about 0.5 to 1% of individuals from ages eighteen to sixty-four who would have bladder control problems at night.  If you would do a head count, that would be about a hundred of teens who would still wet their sheets at night.

Whenever you get sick, what’s the first thing that you do? Know what you have. Either it’s a simple fever or a complicated illness, the very first thing that you do is to gather information to find out your current condition. The same thing with lymphoma, whether you research things on your own or go to a doctor (although this should always be the case since self diagnosis can bring you only so far) for advice, your target is to get all you need know about the disease.
